HddSurgery™ Sea 3.5" Helium P8/P9 Ramp Set represents a set of head replacement tools which can be used to safely and easily replace heads on the Seagate Helium filled 3.5" hard drives with 8 or 9 platters which “park their read/write heads” on a ramp.
Supported Seagate families: Evans, Evans BP and Mobula.
Set contains 2 pairs of head replacement tools: Sea Helium ramp P8 and Sea Helium ramp P9*
These head replacement tools are used to ensure that the heads do not touch each other or magnetic platters in proces of head replacement and to enable their easy mounting back to the ramp.
*These tools don't solve the head compatibility problem. They will only assure that the process of head replacement goes easily on supported drives.
